🥊Competition Dawgs are STATE BOUND and will compete in the GHSA State Championship Competition next Saturday in Macon in the Co-Ed division! Your Cheer Dawgs will be the only 2A team in this division going up against 5-7A teams. 🥊We will showcase our competition routine for our community on Monday, November 6th. Middle School Comp Dawgs will also showcase their routine before they compete in their Region Competition on Tuesday, November 7th at Screven County.

At the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Georgia Skills Challenge in Statesboro, Toombs County students placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the heavy equipment challenge. 1st place went to Dawson Mclendon, 2nd place to Benton Page, and 3rd place to Drew White. Competitors used mini excavators to dig a 20ft trench 18 inches deep then backfilled and smoothed out their work. Students had to complete the task within a given time period and were scored on depth accuracy for the complete 20 feet as well as safety measures. Other competitors included Damien Giesselman, Deaven Oliver, Ethan Williamson, and J’Den Simpson.
Drew White was also the recipient of a $1,000 scholarship to Ogeechee Technical College!

Get ready for our 2nd Annual COMMUNITY PEP RALLY on Thursday, November 2nd! Save the date to come out to The Pit as we gear up for our rivalry football game, celebrate the success of our fall sports, and engage in some healthy competition through various games! Below are descriptions of games and activities community members can sign up to participate in! Dress Like a Football Player Race: We will pick 5 participants for this race who will each team up with a player from our varsity football team! They will start on the same yard line and will run suicides up and down the field picking up and putting on different parts of a football uniform with each suicide.
