Imago Dei Missions provides cost-free clothing and essentials to foster, adoptive, kinship, and guardianship families. Families are asked to bring a copy of their appropriate paperwork to verify eligibility on their 1st visit. July days/hours are listed on the attached flyer.
Toombs County Schools will hold Open House on August 6, 2024 at the following times: Lyons Primary (8:30am-10:30am), Lyons Upper Elementary (10:00am-12:00pm), Toombs Central (10:00am-12:00pm), Toombs County Middle (2:00pm-4:00pm), Toombs County High (2:00pm-4:00pm).
Toombs County Schools will close at noon on July 3. The offices will be closed July 4-5. Our offices will resume normal business hours on July 8.
Toombs County School Nutrition is providing free breakfast and lunch to kids 18 and under this summer @ Toombs County High School. We will offer a 4 day meal pickup each Thursday in June, while supplies last. Please see the flyer or call our office for more information. Reminder to seniors! The Class of 2024 has graduation practice starting tomorrow, Wednesday, May 15th. Students need to be at school by 7:45 a.m. and report to the gym. Students will need to wear their cap and gown for the senior group picture and graduation walks. Remember to also bring your money and form if you want to order pictures. See the picture for more information about each practice. Remember that all three days of graduation practice is mandatory.
